Summer Heat
With summer in full effect targeting redfish has now become very consistent. Despite the heat, sight fishing in creeks at low tide has been really good. A lot of these creek scenarios consist of a large group of fish back in the creek that will eat a well presented fly or artificial but you just have to be cautious to not spook the group of fish. The tarpon and jacks are out in good numbers and have provided a lot of excitement this summer. The late afternoon high tides have not only provided some great flood tides this year but also some great sight fishing for tarpon . As it has been heating up in Savannah, so has the fishing.
