Miles was introduced to fishing at a very early age by his father, an avid fly fisherman. Miles’ father would take him fishing whenever he could and as soon as he was tall enough his dad was taking him to wade the flood tides for tailing redfish.

For as long as he can remember Miles has been addicted to fishing and growing up in Savannah, Georgia was the perfect place to grow his obsession. Whether that’s tailing Redfish in the grass, cruising Jacks on the surface, or the yearly spring return of spawning Cobia, Miles specializes in sight fishing for them with fly and light tackle.

Guiding has been something Miles has been drawn to sense a very early age and he has held a captains license since 2014. He really enjoys the challenge of saltwater fly fishing and giving his angler the opportunity to see a fish, make the cast and then try to get that fish to eat.

Through the years Miles has formed a deep connection and intimate knowledge of the local waters of Savannah. Although he has been lucky enough to travel all over the world to fly fish he always looks forward to returning to his home waters. His obsession for the outdoors has been a constant throughout his life, and he would love to be able to share with you what our unique and beautiful area has to offer from the bow of his skiff.

“my entire life i have always loved wildlife and being outdoors. Sight fishing is such a great way to interact with fish and have a chance to see something incredible.”
